“ My family of four adults tried Kerala Flavours for the first time after seeing it recommended on lots of local Facebook pages and we were really impressed with our meal. We paid £48 which included a 10% collection discount and had 3 mains, 2 starters, 2 rice and poppadoms. Great value for money and the perfect amount of food. We ate it all! The flavours were very traditional of Kerala with mustard seeds, curry leaves, garlic, ginger and fresh chillies. Each dish offered a new flavour experience and we will absolutely be going back to try some of the other dishes. The team were super friendly and smiley which made the whole experience enjoyable. Highly recommended! ”

The onion bhajis was perfectly crisp, filled with a flavorful batter and served with vibrant, fresh chutneys that elevated the dish to new heights. The chicken dhanzak, recommended by our server, was a standout—rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced with fresh whole cassia bark and spices, showcasing the true essence of Kerala’s cuisine. The Lamb bhuna was another highlight, spicy and bursting with bold flavors, paired beautifully with soft, freshly made Kerala paratha. Vegetarian options like the sag aloowere equally impressive, with fresh vegetables in a creamy, spinach-based sauce that was both comforting and complex. Every dish was prepared with high-quality ingredients and authentic spices, delivering the kind of homemade taste that’s hard to find. The portions were generous, and the option to bring your own drinks added a nice touch of flexibility. The service was impeccable, with staff going above and beyond. Despite a slightly dated interior, the incredible flavors and warm hospitality more than made up for it. Kerala Flavours truly lives up to its name, offering a culinary journey to South India that’s worth every visit. ”

“ Bit of a delayed review. Ordered the set menu A and the set menu B as well as a pashwari naan. The dhasnsak was our favourite! Loads of lovely lentils. The tikka masala tasted fantastic. The naan was super fluffy. All of the food was really fresh. The sheek kebab was insanely tasty!! We highly recommend all of the dishes. Definitely worth trying. ”

“ Been to this nice Indian restaurant located in the seaside town of Eastbourne, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the beautiful ambiance and the melodious Bollywood music playing in the background. It was clear that this restaurant has put a lot of effort into creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for their customers. Of course, the most important aspect of any restaurant is the food, and I was not disappointed. Every dish was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Whether you're a fan of spicy curries or milder dishes, there's something for everyone here. I particularly enjoyed the chicken tikka masala and the butter naan bread, which were both incredibly delicious. But what really sets this restaurant apart is the staff. They were so friendly and welcoming, and they went out of their way to make sure that my dining experience was enjoyable. I was especially impressed that they don't take a service charge, which is a rare and refreshing change from many other restaurants. ”
